Installation
All flags, fixed flag poles and banners from HoF can be installed by our experienced installations team.
Whether you need your new corporate flag and pole installing at one UK site or a contract to keep multi site flags and banners up to date according to new promotions, we will ensure that they are installed safely and securely,
with night installation offered where required.
If you're not sure where to site a new pole or need advice regarding planning permission we can carry out a site survey and provide you with a full report and installation plan.
All poles installed by our team come with a one year warranty covering pole, installation work and all fixtures and fittings(excludes halyard and flag.) Simply speak to a member of the sales team.
Maintenance
Maintenance contracts are available to ensure that your flag poles are kept in good condition, with your promotional message or company flag flying at all times. Ground and wall mounted poles can be covered.
Not only does maintenance increase the life expectancy of your pole, it's visual appeal is maintained and the risk of damage caused from a failure in the pole is greatly reduced.
A maintenance contract covers;
- Inspection visit within an agreed time frame from installation
- Cleaning and replacement, where required, of pole fixtures and fittings
- Inspection of all flags
- Realignment of poles
We are also able to offer an emergency call out service in the event of an unexpected incident or pole failure.
Flags can be washed in a normal household washing machine with regular detergent at 40 degrees. Flags that are fraying can sometimes be trimmed back and re-hemmed and we offer a Wash and Repair service.
Flame and Fume Treatment
To keep your flag looking bright and fresh, ensure peace of mind and meet British safety standards, a fire and fume retardant treatment can be applied to our knitted polyester or spun fabrics.
The performance of this durable treatment is not affected by sunlight, time, traffic pollution or dry cleaning processes. Washing and cleaning of the fabric will eventually reduce the effectiveness, however, several washes would be needed before reapplication would be required.
All treatment preparations are constructed to provide maximum protection commensurate with maximum safety. Fireshield products are non-contributory to hazardous fumes but tend to reduce the volume and the toxicity of the fumes normally produced by the subject material.
Written documentation of the treatment is provided with the goods.
Our 520gsm PVC is flame retardant and suitable for internal use.
