Our boating flags also known as nautical flags, maritime flags or code of signals are made to the highest standard at our head office in the UK. We make sure that all of our boat flags are high quality and durable, using materials that are approved by the Ministry of Defence for their naval flags.

We can produce lots of boat flags, including Ensigns, Burgees, House flags, Courtesy flags, Special Ensigns and Code of Signals. Depending on your boats size, British Maritime Law requires you to display certain flags if you are a British registered boat. We make sure that all of our boat flags are produced to adhere all regulations.

All of our boat flags are made to highest standard and meet maritime requirements and standards. We supply our boat flags ready to fly, so you can start using your boat flags straight away.

Our boat flags can be printed or sewn for a more prestigious flag effect. Our printed boat flags are made using advanced digital printers and our sewn flags use MOD approved materials and are made in house by our experienced sewing team.

We offer a wide range of boat flags, including code of signals, ensigns and custom printed boat flags.

We can supply our code of signals as individual flags or as a full set of 26 alphabet flags, 11 pennants and 3 substitutes. Code of signal flags are essential for inter-vessel communication regarding navigation and safety matters. The Flags are available as either a full set of 40, or alternatively can be purchased individually dependent on your requirements.

Ensign flags are required by maritime law for any British ship, whether its miliatry or civilian. We can supply your with ensign flags which meet regulations and are made to the highest quality. Other boat flags are also required to be flown by Maritime law, including Burgees, depending on the size of your boat. We produce all of our flags that are required by law to strict specifications, making sure they adhere to all regulations.

We also offer custom printed boat flags, which are ideal for promoting your brand or sponsors. All of our custom boat flags are made to your unique specifications, inlcuding the shape, size and design of your boat flags. We have produced boat flags for major yacht companies and for sailing events and regattas.

The materials used for this product

code of signals Our boat flags can be made from either spun polyester or 115gsm knitted polyester depending on whether you want a sewn or printed flag.

Spun Polyester (Sewn boat flags):

A traditional looking and long-lasting flag fabric, approved by the MOD for naval flags. This material lasts at least 50+% longer than our standard 115gsm Knitted Polyester. This is suitable for people and companies wanting a great looking flag with added longevity.

115gsm Knitted Polyester (Printed boat flags):
Our standard flag material, knitted polyester is used both internally and externally. These flags are suitable for mirror image due to our digital print method. 90% of all flags produced in the UK are made from Knitted Polyester.

All of our boat flag materials are designed to be used on boats, making sure they are weather resistant and durable and can withstand the conditions faced by ships and yachts.

We can make our boat flags to unique specifications that are bespoke to you, allowing you to create a flag that suits your display requirements. We also have standard sizes for our boat flags, including our Ensigns and our Code of Signals, making it easier for you to choose the right size boat flag for your ship or yacht.

Our ensign flags are available in three different sizes, 0.8m, 1.6m and 3.2m. We can also produce bespoke sized flags to meet your exact needs.
